Korsang is an excellent example of grassroots NGO work.
The Korsang staff are nearly all ex-drug users who got clean and want to help others stay safe and get clean.
Not only is the staff from the community they are trying to serve, but the whole way to relate to the people they help is as peers. When they help people get clean they can get a position as peer councilor and some ex-clients even got full time jobs.
